Win a cool £5,000 … or can you?
Camelot’s latest scratchcard: reveal a temperature lower than the figure printed and you win a “cool” £5,000. Sounds a reasonable spin on the scratchcard theme doesn’t it? It unfortunately assumes that the general populous can handle negative numbers.

I love it… she uses her stupidity so cleverly. Strangely this lady didn’t pass her GCSE maths… I suspect she was ill on the day of the exam.
“I phoned Camelot and they fobbed me off with some story that -6 is higher – not lower – than -8 but I’m not having it.”
“It says to look for a higher or lower number. Six is a lower number than 8. Imagine how many people have been misled.”
